As a painter living her life between two very different places,
Valerie Ghoussaini is inspired not only by those places, but
by the opportunity to visit many other countries along the
way. She spends half of the year in the south of France and
the other half in the south of the United States. Her extensive
travels throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and both
North and South America have opened her eyes to incredible
sights. Through her painting she tries to capture some of that
joy and color on canvas. The snowy scenes from China and
the United States accentuate her bright use of color even
in wintery scenes. All proceeds from the sale of her works
benefit charities targeting children and women in countries
she’s visited.
