Emie Morissette lives in a small town in Canada called Sainte-
Claire. Very young, she observed that the non-verbal reveals
a lot. The many facial expressions are very interesting for a
painter and so she chose to linger in her meetings.

At the age of 8, she started oil painting, and at 10, her
preference for portraiture was revealed. With her subjects
on the verge of reality, she is motivated by making the visible
palpable.

She is also inspired by enchanted tales “Their magic makes me
dream and believe that anything can happen“, she always says.
On the professional plan, Emie Morissette is also CEO of the
Levis QC Canada Fine Arts School and an actress.
