Chan Suk On felt an irresistible urge to unlock the mystery of
her camera’s black box. What secrets lay inside? Driven by her
curiosity, she applied considerable force to loosen the screws.
Inside, she discovered a myriad of tiny parts, hidden mechanisms
         that revealed the unknown.

Each part was disconnected from the others, comprised of irregular
shapes designed for different functions. Once disassembled, the
small parts resembled an anatomical diagram, devoid of purpose
on their own. This raises the question: when an object loses its
function, does it still hold value? "Loose Pieces" suggest that even
without a practical function, inherent beauty emerges.
This simplicity and neat arrangement highlight external incompleteness,
irregular shapes, minimalism, and the lack of excessive modification, all
in pursuit of inner peace and indifference. By deconstructing and untying
these parts, the objects are allowed to display and breathe naturally. In
doing so, one can truly appreciate the craftsmanship of the creator.
