         Shine like the sun, sparkle like a diamond. These are summer photos
         taken in my garden where the sunlight kisses the flowers and inside
         my home where the warmth fills the air. They are a tapestry of
         hand-painted white lace makeup on the body, creating a delicate
         contrast with the skin, then crystals and gold in the hair are added
         on the canvas print, making it look like a crown of jewels. In reality,
         the model Erika is a fiancée, resting on a bed of flowers in a sparkling
         crystallized ambiance, like a fairy tale princess waiting for her prince.
         It’s a bit of a mise en scène as if a ballet scene was captured in a

































                                                              romantic trance, with graceful poses and dreamy expressions. The
                                                              original idea is from cameo shellfish engraving, which is an ancient
                                                              art form of carving intricate designs on shells. The model Eloise is
                                                              in reality an actress; her presence is a playful touch as a precious
                                                              doll, with porcelain skin and rosy cheeks. Blooming inspiration
                                                              of Arcimboldo, who was a Renaissance painter known for his
                                                              imaginative portraits made of fruits and vegetables, and romantic
                                                              atmosphere with feelings of everlasting daydream of summer, where
                                                              time stands still and beauty never fades.
