KIRSTEN KRIJTHE
Lives and works in Gersloot, The Netherlands
http://kirstenkrijthe.nl/
Kirsten Krijthe is an artist active in the field of drawing
and painting. In her pen drawings people and animals
occur in an often unrealistic situation.
An imagination of a feeling or fantasy. The drawings
are elaborated in ink on sturdy paper. Hereby she uses
pointillation as a technique; by creating dots, the image is
created, with a lot of attention to detail. Her oil paintings
are also a mix of realism and fantasy. A kind of dreamy
images made up of stripes of thin oil paint.
