I am an American artist whose been living in Costa Rica for about Some of my digital creations are too complex to even attempt
15 years. I am well known here for my detailed realistic floral to paint such as New Toys and some, like my newer images, the
paintings and paintings of Costa Rica life. These paintings and Popcorn Family, done purely for fun, are ideal for canvases that

It all started with a cube. And from there, with a huge library of
different images, I pick a fabric or a black and white images or
another shape, distort it with Photoshop into my cube and then
using different tools. I warp, distort and move it around until I see
something I like. And then I may look at it for a while and look at lots
of images until I find something that I can incorporate into that cube
I have created.And from there, I just keep adding or subtracting
things. When I finally wind up with an image I like, I see how I can
have this image evolve into a painting on a canvas and have the
canvas the same shape as the image. For years I never understood
why it was necessary to have a painting square. Why couldn’t it be
round or shaped like a cube or shaped like whatever.
