Creating works of art is a compelling life force. It encompasses
passion, spontaneity, intellect and self-discovery. She is an
intuitive painter who uses experimental processes and a
saturated palette to create vivid works of organic abstract art.
She uses oil, acrylic, and water color mediums to tackle familiar
subject matter such as landscapes and floral images.
Her technique and rich use of color approach a modern
expressionistic style. She is mystified by the natural beauty in
nature and uses color to capture the balance between reality
and imagination.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, in 1948, Carol Carpenter is
an award winning artist currently living in Columbia, Maryland.
Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in the
United States, Europe and Japan.
