         Artist Kang Min-ji is a versatile folk painter based in the Burim
         Creative Craft Village. She is the director of the Korean Folk
         Painting Association and a writer for various publications. She has
         pursued her dream with effort and enthusiasm, inspiring those
         who want to express their own colors through traditional folk
         painting. Kang Min-ji’s paintings are delicate and elegant. Kang
         Min-ji has participated in more than 70 domestic and international
         exhibitions, as well as served as a judge in competitions. She
         has won the 34th Korea Art Competition special prize and other
         awards. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Burim

































                                                              Creative Craft Village, where she organized the 2nd Tourism
                                                              Souvenir Contest. She has also supplied folk painting fans to the
                                                              Gyeongnam Tourism Souvenir Hall. Kang Min-ji has been involved
                                                              in promoting and preserving the Korean folk painting tradition.
                                                              She has published books on folk painting techniques and history,
                                                              such as [The Beauty of Korean Folk Painting] and [The Story of Folk
                                                              Painting]. She has also held workshops and lectures for students
                                                              and adults who are interested in this art form. She believes that
                                                              folk painting is a way of expressing oneself and connecting with
                                                              one’s culture. She hopes to share her passion and knowledge with
                                                              more people through her paintings and writings.
