         Imbi Rahumaa. Born in Tallinn. Lives and works in Stockholm.
         Member of Swedish Artists’ Association (Svenska
         Konstnärsförbundet) and Nordic Watercolor Organization
         (Nordiska Akvarellsällskapet).


         Graduated from the University of Tartu with a PhD. Artistic
         education in Sweden in different art schools and under
         guidance of the best contemporary Swedish artists. Also
         participated in different painting trips in Spain, France
         and Italy.  Paints mostly with watercolors, acrylic colors
         (sometimes as watercolors) and Indian Ink. Has the nature,
         especially the Nordic lights changes and movements as
         main source of inspiration, but also the atmosphere of
         the moment. Mostly paints landscapes, plants and urban
         environments in a semi-abstract manner.
         Participated in several juries and international exhibitions
















                                                              in Sweden, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Austria, France
                                                              and USA. Several solo exhibitions in Sweden and in Estonia.
                                                              Awarded with International Prize Leonardo Da Vinci -
                                                              Universal Artist in Florence, Italy in 2016 and “Shakespeare
                                                              in Art” in Verona, Italy in 2016. Represented in Sweden,
                                                              Japan, Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Luxembourg and
                                                              France and in European Art Museums (Denmark).
