Mae Jeon was born and educated in South Korea. She had worked
as graphic designer in Seoul for 4 years, and then moved to US. She
worked as graphic designer and illustrator in New York for two decades
when she first encountered computer art. There she discovered her life
passion within digital medium to pursuing fine art. Since her first solo
show in 2003 Mae Jeon has exhibited her digital artwork internationally
at the galleries, museums, art fairs, and biennales in Italy. “I use flower
shapes as the basic chords to transform spiritual impression into
digital art image. My artwork is a combination of intuition and spiritual
discovery with flower concept and digital medium. Each flower in my
art I assign a role to perform as an actress in the theater stage for a
spiritual story. Often I get a desire to make pictorial image for the divine
vocabulary and spiritual conscious. So then I start create a piece of art
hoping to share my beaming experience with the world.”
