Larz is a Swedish fine Art Artist was born, grew up and
studied in Uppsala under the name Lars Wahlberg. He
changed his name 1996 to Larz Eldbåge (int. Eldbaage) of
artistic reasons.
Today he lives and works in Sigtuna, Sweden.
As a young man, he worked as a decorator and won
contests and was featured many times in the best
of trade journals in the world for decorative art. His
mentors and art teachers during 50s were the well-
known professional artists Bror Hjort, Carl Riise and Knut
Gruva. (All Swedish) But he has also been influenced by
international celebrities such as Leonardi da Vinci, Pablo
Picasso and Salvador Dali.

The artist has since 1959 to 1992 worked commercially
with the development of creative, images, copy, photos,
design and for a time he was also owner of various design
companies. Since 1993 he works as a fulltime professional
Art Artist. He uses many different techniques, such as
Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Sculpture, and Mixed media,
Graphics, Photo and Art for Public exposure. He has over
the years won many prizes and medals in international
competitions. Many of his works can be seen in more
than a dozen international art books published from Italy,
France, Germany, Great Britain and the United States.

Eldbaage is a member of several academies in Italy, France
and in Sweden: K.R.O. (The Swedish Artists National Org.)
