Examples of works like this are landscapes and nature, but also
when Lidy depicts dreams, desires for peace and equality, the
human figure and when she depicts her impression of foreign
cultures that she encountered during her numerous travels.
Other times, Lidy opts for a softer color palette, often using
soft pastel that represents the other side of her personality. At
times quite extrovert in person, we find inner peace in these
works, a contemplation on the fragility of life, the beauty of
man and nature depicted in a female figure or an expanding
landscape. These soft works of art make the spectator grow
quiet and allow him to slip away, if only for a moment, from the
hard reality that so often surrounds us. In her visual arts Lidy
often opts to use the duality of black and white which leads to
some impressive pieces of art.
Her paintings and visual arts are indiscernible from her poetry,

skills as a poet are reflected in her visual arts as well, as they
are very refined. Her visual arts reflect beauty and emotions.
The subject of her art varies greatly but everything, no matter
how diverse and different from the rest, shows a strong
inspiration and a wealth of ideas that perfectly matches with
her personality. When Lidy’s inspired by something, she’ll
process this internally until she has visualized a mental image
of the artwork that she can identify herself with.
The colors she uses in her artwork are sometimes bright and
colorful but Lidy makes sure they remain compatible with each
other and that the colors are in balance with the rest of the
artwork.
