Transformationalism is a concept to describe contemporary art
as it develops around the millennial-shift. Cutting a piece of the
soul of the artist, and the world with a double-edged sword is
the most precise definition of Transformationism. One single
expression that, in an alchemistical way, conveys a condensed
aesthetical appearance. A visual phrase is transforming human
feelings, thoughts, and currents of society into a general
expression. A contemporary picture around the millennial
should be mirroring a culture of eternal transformation. The
development of new inventions has never been running as
fast as now. The world is changing drastically with the latest
generation as divine rulers, seeking a new green plan. The
millennials are learning to take action already as children,
and don’t respect tradition and authorities like the previous
generations. The social structure transforms more and more into
virtual relationships, which accused of the Corona crisis, which
may escalate and change people's social habits radically. We are
physically separated more than ever, but mentally, we have got
closer to each other. The form is transforming us completely.
In the old days, you didn't have the opportunity, nor the talent
to explain yourself in front of others. No one had the patience
to listen to you. Today we interact with each other through an
electronic platform, where everybody can express whatever they
think and make friendships. It affects our way of thinking and
our existence, and as a worst-case scenario, human contact in
groups reduced to a few-times-a-year event. That would certainly
be a complete transformation of the human being, who always
have been driven by sexual drives and needs of being touched
physically. This argument alone explains the need for a new ism
called: TRANSFORMATIONISM. (Excerpt)
