Creativity is not so much about imagination as listening. It is between the flower and the butterfly, and we discover a new
about having one eye and ear inward and one eye and ear aspect of reality that we did not notice before. I have found that
outward. I see my paintings as gates, entrances to a language in when I enter these gates, I experience a new state of mind, a
between. The space between thoughts. There is a famous haiku new connection, because I am also part of nature. My paintings
poem that describes a flower falling from a branch, and then are gates, instruments. The real images are not the ones on my
rising again. Is it a butterfly? We are drawn into the moment canvases, but the ones that emerge in the mind of the viewer.
